Move course to a different semester
This page is for moving a Moodle course instance to a different semester. The Moodle course instance that you are moving from will be deleted after moving. If you want to keep this instance, please go to the Duplicate course to a different semester page.
You can see green badges with semester codes inside them[1.] that tell you where an instance of this course already exists. The badges are clickable, clicking them will take you to an instance of this course in the selected semester.
For moving, you first need to select a target semester[2.]. If there is already an instance in this semester, you need to select[3.] if you want to overwrite the instance in the target semester or if you want to keep it (moving will not happen if an instance already exists). These two options should prevent you from accidentally overwriting an instance.
After clicking on Move you can now use Moodle normally, the course moving is being done in the background, and you will get a notification while it’s done.
