Below you can find a simple overview of events in Moodle FEL, whether regular or one-time. There is a short description of each event and the time window in which it takes place.
One-time events - Winter semester (WS)

Semester creation
period of preliminary registration to the WS
Inside the Moodle FEE is created a scheduled winter semester - administrators and local managers are able to create new KOS courses here.
Course import
beginning of the SS examination period
Courses from the current SS and from the last WS are imported to the upcoming WS, including their contents. These are hidden from students by default, but it can be published manually using the “Course visibility” page in the “Course management” link, which can be found in the left sidebar on the course page.
Change of current semester
weekend before the start of the WS
The upcoming WS is marked as current, and course content is published to students if instructors have not already done so. The previously current SS is marked as archived, and its courses are made read-only.

Course participants synchronization
every day at 2AM
In all KOS courses of the current and scheduled semester, the participants are synchronized according to the data in KOS. At the same time, the correctness of their roles in the course and their assignment in the generated course groups (parallel groups, exam groups, etc.) is checked.
Course database synchronization
every Saturday at 1AM
The list of all existing courses is synchronized according to the data in KOS. This is used when creating a new KOS course or editing a grouping in an existing KOS course.
