Duplicate course to a different semester
This page is for duplicating a Moodle course instance to a different semester. If you want to move an instance do a different semester and delete the original instance, please go to the Move course to a different semester page.
You can see green badges with semester codes inside them[1.] that tell you where an instance of this course already exists. The badges are clickable, clicking them will take you to an instance of this course in the selected semester.
For duplicating, you first need to select a target semester[2.]. If there is already an instance in this semester, you need to select[3.] if you want to overwrite the instance in the target semester or if you want to keep it (duplicating will not happen if an instance already exists). These two options should prevent you from accidentally overwriting an instance.
After clicking on Duplicate you can now use Moodle normally, the course duplication is being done in the background, and you will get a notification while it’s done.
